(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Colts were busy on Labor Day as they held their first practice in preparation for Sunday’s season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Colts whittled their roster down to 53-men over the weekend while also placing defensive lineman and second-round pick Tyquan Lewis on injured reserve and signed tight end Ryan Hewitt, who played four seasons with their Week 1 opponent.
Meanwhile, Andrew Luck made his expected return to practice on Monday as he prepares to play in his first regular season game since the 2016 season.
Running back Marlon Mack remained sidelined as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury, putting his Week 1 status severely in doubt.
