(EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.) - In what unquestionably their ugliest loss of the season the Colts were beaten 42-34 by the New York Jets in a game that wasn’t as close as the score would indicate.
The Jets got a pick-six interception off of Andrew Luck 12 seconds into the game while kicker Jason Myers kicked a franchise-record seven field goals.
The Jets led by as much as 30-13 at one point with Sam Darnold throwing a pair of touchdown passes and completing 24-of-30 passes for 280 yards.
Luck had his worst outing of the season. Despite throwing for 301 yards he completed just 23-of-43 passes and threw four touchdowns but added three interceptions.
"At times, especially when I do things--stupid is the only word that comes to mind," Luck said after the game.
The Colts are in a four-way tie for the worst-record in the NFL along with the Cardinals, Giants and Raiders.
Up next is a battle of lowly teams as the Buffalo Bills come to town with both teams combining for a 3-9 record.
