(LOS ANGELES, CA) - It doesn’t matter what jersey he’s wearing LeBron James remains a constant thorn in the side of the Pacers.
This time King James led the Los Angeles Lakers past Indiana 104-96 and scored a game-high 38 points in the process. James added nine rebounds, seven assists and two steals while going 15-for-27 from the field. James put LA on his back in the fourth quarter, scoring 12 of his 38 points in the final five minutes.
"Late in the game, he went and got aggressive, looking to attack and make something happen," Pacers coach Nate McMillan said.
The Pacers rebounded from a disastrous start as they trailed 38-15 after the first quarter.
Domantas Sabonis led Indiana with 20 points and 15 rebounds while Bojan Bogdanovic added 14 points.
The Pacers wrap up their four-game road trip on Saturday when they visit the Sacramento Kings.
