(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Romeo Langford shined in his debut with the Indiana Hoosiers as IU steamrolled Chicago State 104-55 in their season opener.
Langford scored a game-high 19 points and added four rebounds and three assists. Devonte Green added 15 points while Evan Fitzner had 14.
"Emotions were very high," Langford said on his debut. "I couldn't wait. I just needed to see that first shot go down and it's all good for me from there."
Indiana shot over 56 percent from the field and dominated on the boards with 52 rebounds to Chicago State's 33.
The Hoosiers get back in action on Friday when they host Montana State.
