(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - For the second straight week the Indianapolis Colts cooled off the hottest team in football, this time snapping the Dallas Cowboys’ five-game winning streak with a dominant 23-0 shutout.
Marlon Mack rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries while T.Y. Hilton hauled in five catches for 85 yards.
"When I saw those holes, I was like 'Yeah, It might be a good day," Mack said. "Holes like that don't come often."
The Colts defense stifled what was the league's hottest offense heading into Sunday allowing Dak Prescott to throw for just 209 yards and an interception while sacking him three times. They also limited running back Ezekiel Elliott to 128 total yards.
The Colts defense has allowed only 27 points over the past three games combined and Dallas was shutout for the first time since November 16, 2003.
The Colts improve to 8-6 and are winners of seven of their last eight games. Up next they'll host Eli Manning and the New York Giants in the final home game of the regular season.
