(HOUSTON, TX) - It is fitting that the same team that started the Houston Texans’ nine-game win streak was also the team that ended it as Andrew Luck and the Colts got revenge on the Texans with a 24-21 win.
Andrew Luck threw for 399 yards and two touchdowns while T.Y. Hilton caught nine passes for 199 yards.
"This is my second home," Hilton said of his success in Houston. "This is my second home, man. Every time I come here, I just go off. I don't know what it is."
In seven career games at Houston's NRG Stadium, Hilton has topped 100 yards four times, with three of those for more than 175 yards. He is also the all-time leader in receiving yards per game at NRG Stadium with 122.3.
"When T.Y. is in the zone it's so fun to play with him. It's an honor to play with him," Luck said.
Tight end Eric Ebron caught four passes for 65 yards and a touchdown, his 12th of the season. The TE broke Dallas Clark's franchise touchdown record for a tight end in a single season.
The Colts move to 7-6 and cut Houston's lead in the AFC South to two games. The Colts face a tough test up next as the surging Dallas Cowboys bring their five-game winning streak to Lucas Oil Stadium.
