(TORONTO) - For the second straight game the Indiana Pacers saw a late lead slip away.
This time they saw a 17-point lead disappear as Toronto guard Fred VanVleet hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 25 seconds left to lift the Raptors past the Pacers 99-96.
Victor Oladipo, who a day earlier missed a pair of critical free throws down the stretch in their loss to Cleveland, turned the ball over twice in the final minute Wednesday.
"I made a mistake, I guess," he said. "I can't do nothing now except learn from it."
Kwahi Leonard led the Raptors with a game-high 28 points and 10 rebounds while Oladipo led the Pacers with 20 points. Bojan Bogdanovich added 18 points while Myles Turner had a 10 point and 14 rebound double-double and five blocks.
The Pacers will try to avoid a three-game skid on Friday when they visit the Brooklyn Nets.
