(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - Carsen Edwards scored a game-high 20 points lifted Purdue past No. 23 Maryland 62-60.
Edwards did not have a great shooting night but knocked down key shots down the stretch including two 3-pointers that helped give the Boilermakers the lead for good.
"It was a really good game for him," coach Matt Painter said. "It didn't go his way in terms of shooting, but I think he did a lot of other things for us."
Aaron Wheeler came off the bench and scored 15 points while Matt Haarms added 10 points and six rebounds.
The Boilermakers improve to 6-3 and next visit the Texas Longhorns on Sunday.
