Just last week Indiana’s Senator Bayh voted against opening up Alaska’s Anwar area to drill for oil on U.S. Soil. Now, Bayh has been joined by Senators Joe Lieberman and Sam Brownback to outline the Energy Security Act of 2005 , a legislative proposal to help America break its dependence on foreign oil. The measure sets national oil-saving targets and mandates the production of cars that use new and alternative technologies.
