INDIANA—Three German shepherds are to be added to State Police ranks. The dogs will be trained as “Utility dogs” which means they will be multi-dimensional. Each dog will be certified in narcotic detection, patrol and tracking. The Troopers along with their new partners will also spend three weeks of night training.
