(UNDATED) - The business alliance which for years led the lobbying charge for Daylight Saving Time in Indiana is predicting a few “hiccups” when the state changes its clocks for the first time Sunday, but is optimistic most people will manage just fine.
The Hooiser Daylight Coalition includes builders, manufacturers, realtors, the State Chamber of Commerce and a dozen local Chambers, and several other business groups. Marilyn Moran Townsend with consulting firm CVC Communications predicts people will adjust relatively quickly.
Townsend acknowledges there may be a few glitches the first time through, especially for businesses which use group calendars on their computers. Any appointments have to be re-entered one at a time.
