(STATEHOUSE) - Indiana Secretary of Commerce Mickey Mauer has announced a
strategic economic development plan for the state.
Among the goals of accelerating growth will be development in areas of innovation, workforce development, and making the state investor friendly.
Some of the ways to accomplish this will involve giving economic incentives to universities for getting research into the market place by developing new companies.
Another program called Hoosier Comeback would seek to bring back workers to Indiana by helping with tuition reimbursement and one stop shopping for real estate needs.
