(UNDATED) - As temperatures begin to rise and signs of spring become more evident, farmers will begin to work in their fields.
This means that they will be out in their farm machinery. Farmers will be using the roadways to get to their fields and motorists are reminded to keep on the alert for the slow moving vehicles.
Indiana Farm Bureau Second-Vice President Carolyn Hegel says when motorists see a slow-moving vehicle sign or flashing lights, they need to slow down and only pass when it is safe.
