(STATEHOUSE) - Attorney General Steve Carter has barred a Texas Travel planning firm from doing business in Indiana.
National Vacations Incorporation did business as Horizon Travel and allegedly sold travel memberships door-to-door.
The company told potential customers they did not have the right to cancel services within three days, a tenet which violates Indiana law.
The company has already refunded more than $60,000 to 20 customers and owes $35,000 to the state to pay court and investigative costs.
