Woman Arrested For Stealing From Grocery Store

(SHOALS) - A Shoals woman was arrested Sunday following an investigation into a possible theft from the Jay C Foodstore in Shoals.

Police were told by eye-witnesses that 58-year-old Janet "Sue" French had stolen two items from the Martin County grocery store.

She was taken into custody charged with two counts of theft and lodged into the Martin County Security Center.
