(UNDATED) - The AAA Hoosier Motor Club Gas Gauge Report says the average price of self-serve gasoline has been resting just below $2.90 per gallon for more than a week now.
There were fears that tropical storm Alberto could strengthen into a full-blown hurricane and disrupt energy industry operations in the Gulf of Mexico. However, energy prices may finally drop following the cost of other commodities.
Locally, gas prices are right around $2.88 a gallon with premium at $3.186. More information can be found at www.aaa.com.
