(TERRE HAUTE) - An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday for two missing Terre
Haute boys.
Police say 4-year old Collin and 2-year-old Monte Walker were taken from a home on the city's eastside.
The boys are believed to have been taken by their father, Katron Walker. Police say Katron took the boys from their aunt at knife point, then left in a van.
During their search, police found Walker in Blackhawk, near Terre Haute. Police report that Walker ran from a mobile home and jumped into a nearby lake with the two boys. Monte was rescued from the water and is in Riley Hospital recovering from his wounds. Collin was later found dead after his father was apprehended by authorities. Katron Walker is recovering from a reported self-inflicted punctured lung at Terre Haute Union Hospital.
Terre Haute Police say Katron is now facing charges of murder and attempted murder following yesterday's events.
