(NEW ALBANY) - According to the Louisville Courier Journal, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is investigating possible sabotage at New Albany’s sewage treatment plant that occurred last year.
An estimated five million gallons of untreated sewage was dumped into the Ohio River last October when pumps were turned off at the plant.
Federal investigators are also looking into a 30-million dollar state loan that was used to help finance an expansion project last March.
