(UNDATED) - With gas prices rising to meet summer driving demand, Indiana Attorney General Steve Carter says he’s hearing a few complaints of gas gouging.
Carter says his gas gouging hotline is receiving complaints about gas prices from all over the state, but says the number of complaints has stayed flat for the last few months. Carter says the hotline takes between 100 and 150 calls a month.
The latest Triple-A survey puts a gallon of regular gas in Indiana at an average price of $2.85 a gallon, slightly below the national average.
