(INDIANAPOLIS) - Educators from some of the state’s largest cities are in Indianapolis looking for ways to make urban schools work.
It's the Indiana Urban Schools Association's Ninth Annual Summer Conference.
The two day meeting features a lot of success stories from individual schools.
IUSA Executive Director Chuck Little says a topic is the success of turning traditional schools into academies to give kids more personal attention.
Another concern is how No Child Left Behind is hampering teaching efforts.
