(MARTINSVILLE) - A Morgan County judge has ruled that the entire autopsy of Jill Behrman will not be released to the media.
Newspapers in Bloomington and Indianapolis had made freedom of information requests, asking for the autopsy and manner of death to be unsealed.
Morgan County prosecutors argued that releasing the entire autopsy would intrude on the Behrman family's medical privacy and was not necessary. They also said they want to protect some parts of the investigation.
Jill Behrman disappeared during a bike ride back in May of 2000. Her remains were discovered in 2003 in a remote part of Morgan County. 30-year-old John Myers, II, of Ellettsville has been charged with Behrman's murder. He is scheduled for trial in September.
