(UNDATED) - A new study shows Hoosier drivers are among the more knowledgeable motorists in the nation.
Numbers from GMAC insurance show the average Indiana driver answered 85% of questions on a recent survey correctly.
That ties Indiana for 15th-best in the country. By this measure, Oregon has the best drivers and Rhode Island the most clueless.
The survey came in the form of a 20-question exam on the rules of the road. The most commonly missed question wondered when roads are the most slippery.
The survey says it's just after rain has begun when there's been a dry spell preceding the rain.
