(MADISON) - The remains of a Hoosier airman were laid to rest in his hometown of Madison, more than 34 years after his plane was shot down in Vietnam.
Air Force Tech Sergeant Donald Hoskins was one of six people who were on board an aircraft that was shot down in April 1972 during an emergency supply mission.
Remains of the crew were returned to the U.S. from 1975 to 1993, but Hoskins's remains were not identified until April.
