(UNDATED) - With daytime temps heating back up to the 90 degree mark this week, many people are scrambling to find ways to beat the heat.
At the same time, electric officials are offering tips for people to keep cool, but not shell out a lot of extra money for air conditioning bills.
Keeping your thermostat up a couple degrees can save cash, as well as keeping window units on the shady side of the home.
They also recommend keeping blinds closed during the day, to keep homes cool. They also advise running a ventilator during showers, to get rid of steam fast.
