(UNDATED) - Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels has ordered the state to fully repay the $160-million dollars in debt owed to K-12 schools.
Daniels made the decision based on the state surplus which was officially announced Tuesday.
The state began delaying payment to K-12 schools, higher education and local governments to balance the budget several years ago.
