(INDIANAPOLIS) - A new $8.7-million federal grant will give nearly 9,000 Hoosier high school students a change at a college education.
The Academic Competitiveness grant will add additional money to the Pell grant which has been reduced in the past year.
Students who are enrolled in such programs as Indiana's Core 40 are eligible for the new money.
Interested students can contact their school's guidance counselor for more information.
