(BLOOMINGTON) - An Indiana University study shows banks which are privately-owned make more profits than those owned by large corporations.
Officials say it's the first time such a survey has been conducted.
The change, they say, likely comes from the fact private bank owners pay close attention to their direct competition and make changes accordingly.
