(UNDATED) - Indiana Police and prosecutors say they are seeing a lot of scams this summer.
One scam involves phony telephone calls to elderly individuals from a fake Social Security administration, promising to eliminate a Medicare premium payment if the person turns over bank information.
Another scam claims that the individual being called has won money in a foreign lottery and that a check for a portion of the jackpot can only be cashed if the person sends a processing fee.
