(INDIANAPOLIS) - Ivy Tech president Gerald Lamkin is resigning at the end of the school year.
He's the fifth Indiana college president to step down this year.
The school's enrollment has quadrupled in Lamkin's 23 years on the job.
Governor Mitch Daniels calls Lamkin "The father of the community college system in Indiana."
