(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Central Indiana Bicycling Association says it hopes the chain-reaction crash which killed two police officers will remind cyclists they’re extremely vulnerable on most Indiana roadways.
Ride leader Dolly Craft says while bike riders have the same rights to the road as car and truck drivers, they often aren't treated that way.
State police are still investigating why a semi missed warning lights and signs and plowed into the support truck trailing a caravan of ten bicyclists.
