(UNDATED) - Eleven Libertarian candidates have been kicked off the November ballot.
Indiana gives political parties till June 30 to fill any ballot vacancies after the primaries and conventions.
But a new law passed in March requires them to notify the state by June 20 they intend to fill those slots.
Secretary of State Candidate Mike Kole, whose nomination is unaffected, concedes the party should have kept up with the law, but contends there's no reason for the extra deadline, and complains the state should have notified the party.
