(INDIANAPOLIS) - Eight Indiana police officers will make an 1,100 mile trek by bicycle to raise money for the survivors of officers killed in the line of duty.
The money is used to provide assistance to surviving spouses and family members.
Part of the money is used to defer the cost of sending survivors to Washington D.C. to the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial to recognize officers killed the previous year.
