(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana State Fair opens Wednesday and runs for 12 days.
New features for this 150th year celebration include a two-story cake located in the middle of the fairgrounds.
A free special preview concert featuring Sandi Patty with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra will be held tonight.
This year's theme is titled a "Blue Ribbon Celebration." Spokesman Andy Klotz says the premier food this year is fried strawberries covered in chocolate.
