(UNDATED) - State health officials are reporting a sharp increase in positive West Nile virus results throughout Indiana.
So far, there has only been one reported human case this year in Jackson County.
However, 25 counties now have positive West Nile tests for mosquitoes and dead birds, the largest increase in West Nile activity since 2002.
