(INDIANAPOLIS) - The 15th annual Heartland Film Festival is underway.
More than 40 independent films will be shown during the festival. Indianapolis officials are preparing for 20-thousand people to attend the various events at what some have called "Hollywood Midwest." The festival runs through October 27th.
The films will be shown at the AMC at Greenwood Park Mall, AMC at Clearwater Crossing, and downtown at the Indiana History Center. Film stars like Jon Voight are scheduled to attend.
