(COLUMBUS) - The smell of stolen pizza helped police catch two people connected to the armed robbery of a delivery woman in Columbus.
Shortly after Deputy Jim Green collected information from a witness, 23-year-old Daniel Williams, he went to Williams' home to follow up on the investigation. Once there, Green noticed the smell of pizza.
He later discovered Williams had acted as a scout for 20-year-old Jesse Taylor of Scipio, who's accused of the actual robbery. Williams faces a count of false informing.
