(EDINBURGH) - Indiana Air and National Guard troops at Camp Atterbury got a visit this morning from Vice-President Dick Cheney.
Camp Atterbury has been a key training location for guardsmen and reservists called to active duty from across the country.
Vice-President Cheney will address a rally of Indiana Guard troops at the base, to thank them for their work in the war on terror. Governor Daniels and Indiana National Guard Adjutant General Martin Umbarger planned to attend.
Cheney made a similar appearance Monday at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, where the 101st Airborne had just returned from Iraq.
