(UNDATED) - The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has expanded its emerald ash borer quarantine to include all of Indiana, Illinois and Ohio.
Current intrastate quarantines in the Indiana counties of Allen, Lake, Porter, White, St. Joseph, Lagrange, Steuben, Randolph, Huntington, Hamilton, Marion and Adams remain in effect.
Beginning December 1st, it will be illegal to move hardwood firewood across state lines. Doing so could mean federal fines.
