(UNDATED) - Verizon Communications is announcing three initiatives that will expand DSL internet service to an additional 69 communities, lead to a fiber-based video service and hire 100 workers.
The company filed an application with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission for a state-issued video franchise.
The new hires would help connect the video service in customers' homes. The company would not say how much it is investing in the three initiatives.
