(VALPARAISO) - Sixteen-year old Brandon Raap had fun, fun, fun until his parents took his Subaru Impreza away.
Raap drove 142 miles per hour in an effort to get home so his parents wouldn't worry about his well-being. Officer John Brubaker stopped the boy, who'd planned to attend racing school next year, and told him to go straight home, tell his parents what he'd done and call him in an hour.
His parents say they're not sure now if racing school is the best place for the boy. Raap's license has been suspended, but he won't face any criminal charges because he was cooperative with police. His parents now control the keys to his automobile.
