(COESSE) - A teenager was injured when his leg became trapped in a grain silo’s auger and will need surgery to repair a broken ankle and torn muscles.
It took crews an hour to remove 18-year old Travis Debolt from the silo, which he had been working to repair.
He wasn't injured any more seriously because he was able to reach an emergency shutoff switch for the auger and grab his cell phone to call for help.
