(UNDATED) - The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles will start a pilot program this spring that may mean fewer trips to your local branch.
BMV Commissioner Ron Stiver says the new program would allow new car buyers to get their registration and license plates at the dealerships.
Stiver says they will start out with a few dealerships to test the program, and then if all goes well, the program would expand this summer to other dealerships statewide.
