(UNDATED) - Recently winter weather caused a number of public universities in Indiana to close on Tuesday.
Taylor, Anderson and Ball State universities, as well as Indiana University-Kokomo told students to stay in their dorm rooms and not attend classes.
At least five schools in Indianapolis; Butler, Ivy Tech, IUPUI, Marian College and the University of Indianapolis; all canceled classes.
Purdue University in West Lafayette closed down for the first time in six years.
