(NEW CASTLE) - An inmate who police say used fake documents to be released from a state prison is now facing three new felonies for the alleged crime.
23-year-old Jared Bailey was rearrested February 20th in Johnson County, three days after he orchestrated his initial release from the New Castle Correctional Facility.
Bailey allegedly convinced a friend to pick him up after sending her forged court documents he created in the prison's law library. He was charged Tuesday with escape, forgery and receiving stolen property.
