(INDIANAPOLIS) - Two teens are dead and five other injured after violence erupted at a party in Indianapolis overnight.
Police say a group armed with an assault rifle shot at and chased two vehicles through a northwest side neighborhood. Those involved had just left a party.
Police say the two vehicles being chased both crashed. Lieutenant Doug Scheffel says a second vehicle crashed--ejecting and killing 16-year-old Armando Diaz and other teen, and injuring three others, two critically.
A bullet hole was found in the vehicle, but it is not clear if the deceased teen died of a bullet wound or injuries from the crash. Police are trying to locate the third vehicle.
