(INDIANAPOLIS) - Financial advisors Waddell & Reed are trying to send 10,000 USO care packages to overseas military troops.
The Indianapolis office of Waddell and Reed is participating in the company's 70th Goodwill Tour. The tour takes an 18-wheeler truck 30,000 miles around the country to Waddell and Reed's top seventy markets for donations.
The company hopes the public gets on board with donations Wednesday from 7:30AM to 7:30PM at the Holiday Inn North at the Pyramids in Indianapolis.
Those who donate will also be allowed to send the troops a note and in return will receive a thank you note. USO packages will be available for 25 dollars, or you may just make a monetary donation.
Waddell and Reed donated the first 1,000 USO care packages and will match donations along the way.
