(NEW CASTLE) - Fire officials say their investigation has yet to establish a cause for a blaze which gutted an historic New Castle church.
Saint Anne's Church is still standing, but inside it's a shell of its former self. The roof of the building collapsed in one spot and Easter services had to be held in a local auditorium.
State, local and federal authorities are still on scene gathering evidence and State Fire Marshal Roger Johnson says he has not ruled out any possible causes.
Governor Mitch Daniels arrived to inspect the damage Monday and offer his support to church elders.
