(SHELBYVILLE) - Governor Mitch Daniels met with two Hoosiers Saturday who are not only the oldest people living in Indiana, but also the oldest alive in the country.
One-Hundred-Fourteen-year-old Edna Parker, of Muncie, was presented with a Sagamore of the Wabash award.
She and the governor traveled to Shelbyville to visit with 113-year-old Bertha Fry, the second oldest person in America. The pair is also among the five oldest people in the world.
