(STATEHOUSE) - Governor Daniels has put his signature on a bill which steers more money to Indiana’s covered bridges.
Each county will now be eligible to receive more than $1,800 for every covered bridge inside its boundaries. This would include the Williams Bridge in Lawrence County. That's nearly a third more than previous funding allowed.
A total of 79 bridges are covered under the existing funding plan.
