(UNDATED) - A new survey conducted by Midwest Living Magazine lists seven Indiana cities among its one hundred best “Small Town Getaways.”
Both Madison and Nashville make the publication's top ten and Shipshewana ranks 14th.
Also making the grade are Chesterton, New Harmony, Seymour and Greencastle.
8,500 Midwestern towns whose populations do not exceed 20,000 were considered for the list.
Topping the list is Ephraim-Fish Creek in Door County, Wisconsin.
Criteria for selection include attractions, scenery, walkability, dining and proximity to major cities.
